ASHTANGA FLOW

This class uses an open approach to sequencing which retains the essential, classical elements of the Ashtanga vinyasa asanas while allowing for freedom and flexibility. Students are encouraged to move and breathe freely, and develop their unique expression of an age-old system. Beginning students, or those who are returning after an injury or a break from practice, might enjoy starting out with Flow 1/2, Hatha, Mellow, or Deep Flow classes.

DEEP FLOW

This is a challenging, slower-paced, all levels class that draws from Forrest yoga, flow yoga, core strength exercises and breath awareness to help students of all levels develop greater strength, flexibility and inner awareness. The class emphasizes alignment basics, breath work, injury healing and prevention. Beginner friendly.

FLOW 1/2

This is a flow style yoga class suited to new students and seasoned practitioners who are looking for a slower paced class, with more time spent on alignment details. Each teacher brings a unique flair — so we suggest reading the teacher bio's to get a sense of how a particular class might flow.

FLOW

Vigorous flow style yoga taught in a heated room with excellent music, creative sequencing, and a mindful attention to detail. All Levels Flow suits new students (who are injury free) and seasoned practitioners alike, since poses can be modified to fit each student. It's always fine to rest in child's pose if needed. Familiarity with sun salutations is helpful. Each teacher brings a unique flair — and we suggest reading the teacher bio's to get a sense of how a particular class might feel. Beginning students, or those who are returning after an injury or a break from practice, might enjoy starting out with Flow 1/2, Hatha, Mellow, or Deep Flow classes.

FLOW +

Flow + classes are mindful, athletic, fast-paced flow style yoga classes. Most Flow + classes will move through multiple arm balances and inversions. We recommend 6+ months of flow-style practice and familiarity with sun salutations. Each teacher brings a unique flair -- and we suggest reading the teacher's bio to get a better sense of how a particular class might flow. Beginning students, or those who are returning after an injury or a break from practice, might enjoy starting out with Flow 1/2, Hatha, Mellow, or Deep Flow classes.

HAPPY HOUR YOGA

HHY is a one hour, donation based flow class open to all levels. On the first Friday of each month, all proceeds from Happy Hour Yoga go to a local nonprofit organization. Patrons are welcome to suggest recipients, for more information talk to Jessie Hurd (the instructor).

HATHA FLOW

Hatha Flow is a slower paced, grounding, strengthening practice. Classes are held in a warm (not hot) room, typically with music. The instructor uses Intelligent sequencing and guides students into poses with a focus on finding natural range of motion and healthy alignment. Hatha Flow is wonderful for newcomers to yoga, students who appreciate moving at a slower pace, and for flow yogis looking  to focus on technique and breath. Each teacher brings a unique flair and we suggest reading the teacher's bio to get a sense of the class style and feel.

KIRTAN FLOW

Bring the wonder of existence into your practice through intention, breath, movement, sweat, and chant. Kirtan Flow combines fluid and powerful vinyasa sequencing with movement meditations, pulsations and chant, helping to cultivate ease and grace in the face of intensity and stress. Incorporating the principles of Hatha Yoga (union of mind, body and soul) and Bhakti Yoga (gratitude, open-heartedness, humility, compassion and devotion). This class is set to a backdrop of live music including a rotating register of local kirtan artists, drummers and musicians. Singing and live music fosters space for opening the physical, emotional and spiritual body from the inside out through vibration and sound. By donation.

LATE NIGHT YOGA

This is a one hour, donation based flow class open to all levels. It's a pretty groovy scene, perfect for night owls and yoga renegades.
