Join us for yoga, guided meditation, journaling and sharing our stories and ideas about death and dying in a safe and meaningful way. We'll conclude with a healing sound bath. Yoga beginners welcome.

Our experiences around death are some of the most significant of our lives and yet we rarely share these stories with others or give much thought to how we'd like our own deaths to go.

Sharing our experiences with dying gives us the opportunity to explore these feelings, re-processing our grief so that we can begin to understand how it has expanded our hearts, and also leaning into the idea that we all will die and we have the ability to plan for a gentle and loving experience for ourselves and our loved ones.

In this 3-hour workshop we’ll use the practice of yoga, guided meditation, partner work, music, journaling and open discussion, to help us get centered and grounded so we can share our death experiences in a safe and meaningful way.

We'll also practice thinking about what will matter most to us when we ourselves die. We’ll focus on feeling, listening, being curious and accepting things how they are. The workshop will conclude with a healing sound bath. Yoga beginners welcome!

On the first Saturday of every month, Emma will offer a uniquely formatted 90-minute flexibility clinic focusing on the cultivation of a sustainable flexibility through the union of strength, mobility, and somatic awareness. Not your traditional yoga class, this clinic will be akin to a once a month workshop that will include flow, drills, and conditioning work utilized to refine technique and to layer in progressions appropriate for all levels. There will be ample time for discussion of questions as well as lots of individual attention. Physical areas of focus will alternate every month. Prior experience in vinyasa flow encouraged.

November's focus will be developing the foundational elements of Hanumansana (full splits). Students do not need to be flexible or have an advanced asana practice to attend this clinic. Our work will focus on the developing the technical awareness needed to progress into this posture over time.

Bhakti Yoga is the Yoga of devotion, and the root of the word "bhakti" means "to share, to connect." With Bhakti Yoga we find connection with ourselves and others not through analytical thought, but through the feeling of the heart. One of the main ways we do this is through the chanting and sharing of mantra - ancient Sanskrit words strung together to illicit ( among many other things) joy, affection, forgiveness, deep love, and surrender.

Join Susannah and guest musical artists for a sweet evening of stories from Hindu mythology and chants that allow us to access our own hearts.

Biomechanically, a handstand can be easily achieved by placing your center of mass over your base of support--but how does one actually go about doing just that?

In this monthly 90-minute clinic, we will cover the three tenets of hand-balancing: Entry, Alignment and Balance. You will learn how to properly warm-up & what conditioning drills will serve your practice, while also learning how to identify what your specific body needs to find balance upside down.

For those students already finding basic success in a handstand but looking to progress, we will look at cues for cleaning up your line, drills for mobilizing your pelvis & legs while maintaining balance (aka exploring how to make shapes), and lay the groundwork to begin progressing towards the press to handstand.

This workshop is open to all levels, though it is recommended that one have some success regularly kicking up into a handstand balanced against the wall.

This month’s theme: “RELATIONSHIP”:
Why do I sometimes say ‘yes’ when I want to say ‘no’...?
How do I see more opportunities than obstacles?
What’s it feel like to be 100% heard?

With curiosity and kindness, we’ll explore these questions and more through the yoga of Contact Improv.

This is a place outside the rectangular, linear borders of our habitual yoga practice into wide open spaces, where the uncharted territory of your soulful body waits to ask you for a dance.

Set to music designed to make you wiggle and shake, slide and undulate, this monthly dance clinic will bring yogis big and small, short and tall- together. Bring a partner or meet one there. We’ll be sharing our weight and reclaiming our true, ever-shifting boundaries.

Recommended is at least one year of yoga practice under your belt; no prior dance experience necessary. Can’t wait to see you in your comfy, moveable, fall-fabulous outfits wild ones. 🤙🏼
